MUNICIPAL DISTRICT OF ST STEPHEN & ST ANDREWS (incl. BAYSIDE & CHAMCOOK) – Animal Control at (506) 466-5031. St Stephen does have a bylaw for stray cats and they may have been picked up if complaints have been made. Also please call the shelter at (506) 465-7657, someone may have called us with a stray matching your cats description that we can match you up with.

ALL OTHER AREAS OF THE COUNTY – There are no other bylaws for cats, please report missing cats to the shelter at (506) 465-7657.

Lost Dog

MUNICIPAL DISTRICT OF ST STEPHEN & ST ANDREWS (incl. BAYSIDE & CHAMCOOK) – Animal Control at (506) 466-5031. You can also call the shelter, but the contract for stray dogs in these towns is privately held. Dogs can be claimed at the Dog Constable’s NOT at the shelter.

ALL OTHER AREAS OF THE COUNTY – Call the shelter at (506) 465-7657 or the NBSPCA who handle rural dog control at 1-877-722-1522. Dogs picked up in rural areas generally come to the shelter but if we are full may be transported to other shelters.

Found Cat

ALL OTHER AREAS OF THE COUNTY – Please call the shelter with a description of a found cat/kitten. Someone may have reported it lost.

IF YOU HAVE LOST OR FOUND AN ANIMAL, PLEASE CALL THE RADIO, VET CLINICS, AREA SHELTERS, NEWSPAPERS AND CHECK YOUR NEIGHBOURHOOD.

Found Dog

MUNICIPAL DISTRICT OF ST STEPHEN & ST ANDREWS (incl. BAYSIDE & CHAMCOOK) – Animal Control at (506) 466-5031. All stray dogs from these areas must go to the Dog Constable. There are different time limits for owners to claim, and owners must purchase a license from the Dog Constable for stray dogs found in these towns.

ALL OTHER AREAS OF THE COUNTY – Please call the NBSPCA at 1-877-722-1522 they do rural dog control. You may also call the shelter at (506) 465-7657, but we do not pick up stray dogs, we shelter them. All rural dogs claimed, owners must purchase an NB License.
